International Short-term Ministry Trip opportunities of 1-3 weeks
Journey Missions is dedicated to short term ministry opportunities and provides opportunities for inter-generational trips as well as student focused trips. A short term ministry trip can be anywhere from ten days to three weeks.
Serving on a short-term ministry team is a great opportunity; however the goal of Journey Missions is not for participants to serve internationally and be done. Rather, the goal is for a long term impact. Our prayer is that people will go, serve, and return home with rejuvenated hearts to continue serving in the local congregation.
Ministry trip service opportunities include:
- Preaching
- Teaching
- Construction
- Manual Labor
- Children's + youth ministry
- Sports camps
- Evangelism
- and more!
Opportunities To Serve
Ministry Trips offer a wide range of service opportunities that allow you to use your God-given skills. This is also a great way to develop new skills in a meaningful context. Serving can look like preaching & teaching, sharing the gospel, working with children & youth, assisting in work projects, and investing in the local community. This diversity ensures everyone with various gifts and passions can contribute effectively.
Cross-Cultural Experiences
Beyond the immediate service, going on a ministry trip will provide opportunities for you to learn and immerse in the culture. Along-side fellow team members, you will gain first-hand experience of diverse cultures. These experiences will broaden your perspective and deepen your understanding of the global Church.
Long-Term Spiritual Impact
At the core aim of Ministry Trips is to ignite a lasting impact within you and all participants. The hope is that this experience of serving internationally will not stop here, but that you will return with a rejuvenated heart, restoring your passion to serve at home in your own community.
