Setting the Lonely in Family
Last year, about this time, I was telling you how quiet the Miriam Home was – you might say not even a mouse was stirring. That is pretty normal – the juvenile court tries to reunite as many children with their families as possible before the holidays. This year that plan didn’t work as well.
At our peak in November we had 21 children (and one adult mom) in the Miriam Home, but in just two weeks 10 children left!
